About the Tana Trust

The Tana Trust, a small Charitable Trust was established some twenty years ago by Gordon Muirhead and Karl Grossfield to assist in the development, user evaluation and introduction of novel equipment to the disabled and elderly.

In 1981, the Tana Trust acquired a number of useful but commercially unattractive projects from the National Research Development Corporation. Since that time the Tana Trust has continued to support these products, and developed other projects such as a knitting aid, the Tana Talker and the Wavesound.

The Trust continues to investigate new ideas which might lead to useful products for the disabled and where necessary assists in marketing.
